Walking
From the center of Bururi, head south towards Avenue de la République. Continue walking straight until you reach the main bus station. This is a good point to ask locals for directions, as many are familiar with MAWIMBI Beach club. From the bus station, take the main road heading towards Kizuka. Walk approximately 4 kilometers along this road, enjoying the scenic views along the way. As you approach Kizuka, look for a sign directing you to MAWIMBI Beach club. The club is located near the shore, approximately 500 meters from the main road. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at your destination.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Bururi. Start from the main square and head south towards Avenue de la République. Continue cycling towards the bus station and then take the main road leading to Kizuka. The ride is approximately 4 kilometers and should take around 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye out for signs indicating MAWIMBI Beach club as you near Kizuka. Once you see the signs, follow them to reach the beach club located near the lake.

Motorcycle Taxi (Boda Boda)
For a quicker option, you can take a motorcycle taxi, commonly known as a Boda Boda, from anywhere in Bururi. Simply flag down a Boda Boda and tell the driver you want to go to MAWIMBI Beach club in Kizuka. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting the journey. The Boda Boda driver will drop you off close to the entrance of the beach club. Enjoy the ride and the fresh air!
