Walking
From the center of Ngozi, head southwest towards Avenue du Commerce. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Paix. Turn right onto Avenue de la Paix and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Bujumbura. After 1 kilometer, turn left onto Rue du 13 Octobre. Continue walking for another 200 meters. You should see the entrance to Bujumbura Zoo on your right.

Public Transport (Bus/Minibus)
From the main bus station in Ngozi, look for a minibus heading towards Bujumbura. The fare is usually affordable, around 1,000 Burundian Francs. Once you are on the minibus, inform the driver of your destination, 'Bujumbura Zoo.' The journey will take approximately 1 hour. After you arrive in Bujumbura, exit at the nearest stop and ask locals for directions to Rue du 13 Octobre. Walk approximately 15 minutes down Rue du 13 Octobre until you reach the zoo entrance.
