Car

Start by heading south on Avenue de la République from the center of Makamba. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route Nationale 1. Turn left onto Route Nationale 1 and drive for approximately 25 kilometers. You will pass through several small towns along the way. After 25 kilometers, take the exit towards Bujumbura and follow the signs for J936+62F. Harmonie Woods will be on your right after you enter Bujumbura.

Public Transportation (Bus)

From the main bus station in Makamba, look for a bus heading to Bujumbura. The fare is usually around 2,000 Burundian Francs. The bus ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Bujumbura, take a moto-taxi (approximately 5,000 Burundian Francs) to Harmonie Woods, located at J936+62F. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your ride.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Makamba to Bujumbura. The cost is typically around 50,000 Burundian Francs for the trip. Once you reach Bujumbura, you can ask the driver to take you directly to Harmonie Woods at J936+62F. This option is more convenient but also more expensive.
