Start from the center of Espargos at the Praça da Liberdade. Head southwest on Avenida 1 de Junho towards Rua 1 de Maio. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Rua da Liberdade. Turn left onto Rua da Liberdade and walk for approximately 300 meters. At the next intersection, turn right onto Rua de São Filipe. Continue walking until you reach the main road, where you can find local taxis or shared vans (known as 'alugueres') that can take you closer to Monte Curral.

Once you reach the main road, look for the aluguer vans heading towards the area of Monte Curral. You can ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Monte Curral. The fare is generally low, around 50-100 CVE. The drivers are familiar with local destinations, so feel free to mention Monte Curral specifically.

After being dropped off by the aluguer, you may need to walk the remaining distance to Monte Curral.
