If you are driving from Praia de Chaves, head southeast on the main road (CV-10) towards the town of Sal Rei. Continue straight for about 8 kilometers until you reach the signs for Cabeco dos Tarafes. Turn left onto the unpaved road that leads towards Cabeco dos Tarafes. Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers. You will see indications for Praia do Mosquito shortly after you pass through the village. Parking may be available at the beach entrance.

Take a local minibus (often referred to as 'aluguer') from Praia de Chaves to Cabeco dos Tarafes. These minibuses regularly depart from the main square in Praia de Chaves. You should expect to pay around 2-3 CVE (Cabo Verdean Escudos) for the fare. Upon arrival in Cabeco dos Tarafes, ask the driver or locals for directions to Praia do Mosquito. It's about a 20-minute walk from the drop-off point to the beach, following the same route as drivers.
