Car

If you are driving from Praia de Cruz, head northwest on the main road towards Rabil. Continue straight for about 15 minutes (approximately 10 km). As you approach Rabil, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Chaves. Turn left onto the dirt road at the sign for Chaminé de Chaves. Drive for another 5 minutes, and you will see the Chaminé de Chaves landmark on your right. There is usually parking available near the site.
Public Transportation

To reach Chaminé de Chaves via public transport, start by finding a local minibus (often referred to as 'aluguer') that travels to Rabil. You can catch these from designated stops in Praia de Cruz. The fare to Rabil is typically around 100 CVE (Cape Verdean Escudo). Once in Rabil, you can either walk approximately 1.5 km towards Chaminé de Chaves or take a taxi, which should cost about 200 CVE to the landmark. The taxi will take you directly to the site.
Walking

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Praia de Cruz and head northwest towards the main road leading to Rabil. Follow the road for about 4 km until you reach Rabil. From there, you can either continue walking or catch a taxi for the remaining distance of 1.5 km to Chaminé de Chaves.
