Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Praia do Tarrafal. Head northwest on R. Macaco, passing local shops and small eateries. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach Tarrafal Square. Look out for a large open area with seating and greenery; this is your destination. Parking is available along the street.
Public Transportation
Take a local minibus (called 'aluguer') from anywhere in Praia do Tarrafal that is heading towards Tarrafal Square. The fare is usually around 50 CVE (Cape Verdean Escudo). Inform the driver that you want to get off at Tarrafal Square. The square is a popular stop, so they will know where to drop you.
Walking
If you're already in the vicinity of Tarrafal, you can easily walk to Tarrafal Square. From the beach area, head towards R. Macaco. Continue walking straight, and after about 15 minutes, you will arrive at the square, which is an open park area with seating and trees.
