    Begin your journey from the center of Praia, specifically from Praça Alexandre de Almeida. Head south towards Avenida 5 de Julho. Continue straight along Avenida 5 de Julho, passing local shops and restaurants. After approximately 1 km, you will reach the roundabout at Praia da Gamboa. Take the second exit to continue on Avenida 5 de Julho, which will lead you to the coastal road.

    Once you are on the coastal road, continue walking westward for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Rua de Cabo Verde. At this point, you will see signs directing you towards Farol da Ponta Preta. Turn right onto Rua de Cabo Verde and continue walking until you reach the lighthouse.

    As you approach the lighthouse, you will see a path leading directly to it. Follow this path, and you will arrive at Farol da Ponta Preta. Enjoy the views of the coastline and the surrounding area!

    Local Transport

    If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local minibus (known as 'aluguer'). From Praça Alexandre de Almeida, look for a minibus heading towards the coastal area of Gamboa.
