From the city center of Praia, start at the main square, Praça Alexandre de Almeida. Head west on Avenida 5 de Julho towards the beach. After about 500 meters, turn left onto Rua da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, where you'll find the entrance to the hiking trails leading to Monte Babosa.

From the city center, you can take a minibus (also known as 'aluguer') heading towards the neighborhood of Achada de Santo António. These minibuses often leave from the main terminal near the Praça Alexandre de Almeida. Inform the driver that you want to go to Monte Babosa. Once you reach the stop near Achada de Santo António, get off and ask locals for directions to the hiking trail leading up to Monte Babosa.
