Getting There

Walking
Starting from the center of Sal Rei, head east towards the beach. Walk along Avenida de Amílcar Cabral, which runs parallel to the beach. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rua 1 de Maio. Turn left onto Rua 1 de Maio and continue walking until you see the beach on your right. The Pier of Santa Maria will be directly ahead at the end of the street. It should take about 15-20 minutes to walk from the center of Sal Rei.

If you're renting a bicycle, start from the center of Sal Rei and head east on Avenida de Amílcar Cabral. Keep pedaling straight towards the beach. When you reach the intersection with Rua 1 de Maio, turn left and continue to the beach. The Pier of Santa Maria will be visible at the end of the road.
