If you are driving, start from the main road along Santa Maria Beach. Head northwest on Avenida 15 de Setembro towards Rua 1 de Maio. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Rua 14 de Agosto. Turn left onto Rua 14 de Agosto and follow it. After approximately 500 meters, turn right onto 53GM+682. Mercado Municipal will be on your right. Parking is usually available nearby, but be cautious of parking regulations.

To reach Mercado Municipal by public transport, take a minibus from Santa Maria Beach. Head to the main bus stop near the beach. Look for a minibus heading towards Espargos, which is the nearest town. The fare is usually around 1-2 euros. Inform the driver that you wish to stop at Mercado Municipal. The journey will take around 15-20 minutes. After disembarking, walk approximately 5 minutes to the marked location at 53GM+682.
