Car
If you're traveling by car from Mindelo (the main city in São Vicente), head southeast on Rua de Lisboa towards Avenida 5 de Julho. Follow the signs for the CV-10 road. Continue on the CV-10 for about 10 km. You will pass through the town of Ribeira de João Evora. Keep going until you reach the turnoff for Feijoal. Turn onto the road that leads to Feijoal and follow it for about 2 km. Shark Bay will be on your right, marked by a small sign. Please note that parking may be limited, so plan accordingly.
Public Transportation
To reach Shark Bay via public transportation, start by taking a 'Aluguer' (shared taxi) from any main point in Mindelo to Feijoal. Alugueres can be found at designated stops, and the fare is usually around 100 CVE per person. Once you arrive in Feijoal, you will need to walk approximately 2 km to reach Shark Bay. If you prefer, you can ask the driver to drop you off as close to Shark Bay as possible. Be sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
Walking
If you're already in Feijoal and wish to walk to Shark Bay, head southeast on the main road from the center of Feijoal. The distance is about 2 km, and it will take approximately 25-30 minutes on foot. Look for signs pointing towards Shark Bay. The route is straightforward, but be prepared for some uneven terrain as you approach the beach.
Use Shark Bay as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
