Getting There

  • Walking

    From Disneyland's main entrance, head towards Tomorrowland. Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters is located near Space Mountain. Follow the signs within Tomorrowland to the attraction. The entrance is easily identifiable by the large Buzz Lightyear figure.

  • Public Transport

    If arriving via the Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) , disembark at the Disneyland Main Entrance stop. Enter Disneyland Park and proceed to Tomorrowland. Follow the signs to Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. ART one-way fares are $4 for adults. Day passes are also available.

  • Driving

    If driving, park at the Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals parking structures. From the parking structure, take the tram to the Disneyland Main Entrance. Enter Disneyland Park and head towards Tomorrowland. Standard parking is $35 per car or motorcycle. Preferred parking is available for $55.

Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters is an exciting and interactive dark ride located in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California. Based on the popular Toy Story franchise, this attraction invites guests to become honorary Space Rangers and help Buzz Lightyear defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg. As you enter the Gamma Quadrant, you'll board an XP-40 space cruiser equipped with laser cannons. Use the joystick to spin your vehicle a full 360 degrees and aim at the glowing "Z" targets scattered throughout the ride. Each successful hit earns you points, which are tracked on the dashboard in your space cruiser. At the end of your mission, you'll receive a Star Command ranking based on your score, from Space Cadet to the coveted Galactic Hero. The fate of the toy world rests in your hands as you navigate through Zurg's robot army and attempt to stop his destructive plans. This ride combines a carnival game with a ride system, making it a thrilling experience for all ages. After the ride, you can view a free digital photo of your adventure.
