From downtown Bakersfield, start at the intersection of 18th Street and Chester Avenue. Head north on Chester Avenue until you reach the bus stop at Chester Avenue and 24th Street. Take the bus line 21 towards the Kern River Parkway. Disembark at the Patton Way (Stop ID: 3025). From there, walk east on Patton Way for about 0.5 miles, and you will arrive at Emerald Cove Park located at 4303 Patton Way. The park entrance will be on your left.

If you have a bike, you can start from the Kern River Parkway bike trail. Head towards the north, following the trail until you reach the intersection of the bike path and Patton Way. Turn right onto Patton Way, and continue for about 1 mile until you reach Emerald Cove Park at 4303 Patton Way. The park will be on your right.
