Driving
From downtown Hayward, head east on Mission Boulevard, then turn left onto Harder Road. Continue onto Old Hillary Road. The monument will be on your right. Parking is limited and can be challenging during peak hours. Check for temporary parking restrictions due to construction on Old Hillary Rd. There are no parking fees.
Public Transport
Take BART to the Hayward Station. From there, transfer to AC Transit Bus Line 60 towards South Hayward. Get off at the stop near Old Hillary Rd. Depending on the time of day, you may need to walk a short distance to reach East Bay Monument. A round-trip BART fare is around $10, and the bus fare is approximately $2.50.
