Bus
To reach Cuvaison Winery from downtown Berkeley, start by walking to the nearest bus stop on Shattuck Ave. Look for the AC Transit bus line 7 heading towards 'Napa'. Board the bus and sit back as it takes you towards Napa. The bus will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Get off at the stop for 'Napa - 3rd St & Main St'. From there, transfer to the Vine Transit Route 10 bus towards 'Napa - Duhig Rd'. Once on Route 10, stay on until you reach the stop at 'Duhig Rd & Cuvaison Winery'. Walk a short distance to the winery entrance.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Berkeley. Start your journey by heading north on Shattuck Ave, then take a left onto University Ave. Continue onto the bike path that leads towards Interstate 80. Follow the bike route signs towards Napa, which will take you through scenic areas. Once you reach Napa, follow the road signs to Duhig Rd. Cuvaison Winery is located at 1221 Duhig Rd. The total bike ride can take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your cycling speed.
Walking
Walking is not the most practical option due to the distance (about 25 miles from Berkeley to Napa) and the lack of pedestrian pathways. However, if you are set on walking, head towards the nearest BART station and take the BART train to the El Cerrito Del Norte station. From there, you could walk towards the nearest bus station to catch a bus to Napa. This journey would take an entire day, so it is not recommended for most tourists.
