From downtown Berkeley, head to the nearest bus stop at Shattuck Ave and Allston Way. Take the AC Transit bus line 1 or 1R heading towards San Francisco. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at California St & 6th Ave. From the bus stop, walk west on California St for a couple of blocks until you reach the entrance of Golden Gate Park. Continue walking straight into the park, following the signs towards the National AIDS Memorial Grove.
