From downtown San Francisco, the 38 Geary bus line provides direct access to Sutro Heights Park. The bus runs from the Financial District through the Richmond District. Get off at the 48th Avenue and Point Lobos stop, which is less than a block from the main park entrance. A single ride on Muni costs $3.00.

If you are visiting the Cliff House or Sutro Baths, Sutro Heights Park is a short walk uphill. From the Cliff House, walk north along Point Lobos Avenue. The main entrance to the park, marked by the two lion statues, will be on your left. The walk is less than 10 minutes and offers scenic views of the coastline.
