Walking
If you are starting from the Berkeley campus, head south along Telegraph Avenue towards the downtown area. Continue straight onto Shattuck Avenue and walk until you reach the BART station at Downtown Berkeley. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Get off at the Montgomery Street station. Exit the station and walk east along Montgomery Street until you reach Sacramento Street. Turn left on Sacramento Street and continue until you reach Waverly Place. The Tin How Temple will be located on your right at 125 Waverly Place, Chinatown.
Bus
From the UC Berkeley campus, walk to the nearest bus stop on Telegraph Avenue, and catch the AC Transit bus line 1 or 7 heading towards San Francisco. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the 'Market St & 2nd St' stop. From there, walk one block north on 2nd Street to Montgomery Street and then east on Montgomery until you reach Sacramento Street. Turn left on Sacramento and walk until you reach Waverly Place. The Tin How Temple is located at 125 Waverly Place, Chinatown.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike at one of the local bike-sharing stations around Berkeley. Start by heading south on Telegraph Avenue and then take a left onto University Avenue. Follow University Avenue until you reach the shoreline and then take the bike path towards the Bay Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the signage toward San Francisco. Once you reach the city, navigate to Grant Avenue and turn left to head towards Chinatown. Continue until you reach Waverly Place. The Tin How Temple will be on your right at 125 Waverly Place.
