Abraham Lincoln Park, located at 300 N Buena Vista St in Burbank, California, is more than just a park; it's a vibrant community space with a rich history. The park's name pays homage to the Abraham Lincoln Elementary School that stood on the site from 1923 until its closure in 1979. The school also served as an Adult Education Center and the Burbank Unified School District's Administrative Offices before the park and the Buena Vista Branch Library were dedicated and opened to the public on December 7, 2002. The park features lush lawns, mature trees providing ample shade, picnic tables, and a gated playground, making it a popular destination for families. The playground offers slides and climbing structures suitable for various age groups, ensuring a fun and secure environment for children.
