Public Transit
From Castro Valley BART station, take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. After about 25 minutes, disembark at the Embarcadero station. Once you exit the station, head east on Market Street towards Spear Street. Turn left onto Spear Street and walk about 0.3 miles until you reach the Bay Bridge. You'll see it clearly in front of you, and there are several viewpoints along the waterfront where you can admire the bridge.
Walking
If you're already in the downtown Castro Valley area, head towards the Castro Valley BART station. From the station, follow the directions for public transit to reach the Bay Bridge. Alternatively, if you prefer to walk, you can take Castro Valley Blvd north to meet with East 14th Street, which leads to the BART station. Then, follow the BART instructions to get to the Bay Bridge.
Rideshare
Use a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft. Open the app and set your pickup location in Castro Valley. Enter 'Bay Bridge, San Francisco, CA' as your destination. This will take you directly to the Bay Bridge. The journey typically takes about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
