    Start at the Castro Valley BART station located at 3301 Castro Valley Blvd. Take the AC Transit bus line 83 towards 'Hayward BART'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Lake Chabot Rd & Macarthur Blvd'. From there, walk north along Lake Chabot Rd for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the park entrance at 17600 Lake Chabot Rd.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, start from downtown Castro Valley. Head east on Castro Valley Blvd, then take a left onto Redwood Rd. Continue on Redwood Rd for about 2 miles. Turn right onto Lake Chabot Rd and follow it for about 1 mile until you reach the park entrance. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow traffic rules for safety.
