Once you exit the station, head northwest on 19th Street towards Rashida Muhammad Street. The 'Remember Them' memorial will be on the corner of 19th Street and Rashida Muhammad Street, just a short 5-minute walk from the station.
Public Bus
From Castro Valley, take AC Transit Bus 31 towards the Bayfair BART Station. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop near 19th Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard. From there, transfer to AC Transit Bus 14 towards the 19th Street Oakland BART Station. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 19th Street stop, and walk towards Rashida Muhammad Street. The 'Remember Them' memorial is located at the intersection, just a couple of minutes away.
