Public Transportation
To get to the Coronado Ferry Center from anywhere in Chula Vista, start by locating the nearest bus stop that services the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) routes. Look for a bus route that goes towards downtown San Diego. You can take Route 701, which travels from Chula Vista to the San Diego Convention Center. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Broadway & 1st' stop in San Diego. From there, walk towards the San Diego Bay until you reach the ferry terminal. Board the Coronado Ferry, which will take you directly across the bay to Coronado. The ferry ride offers beautiful views of the San Diego skyline. Once you arrive at the Coronado Ferry Landing, walk along the waterfront to reach the Coronado Ferry Center at 1201 1st St.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Chula Vista. Start your ride towards the San Diego Bay. Follow the designated bike paths and head towards the Silver Strand State Beach. Continue along the bike path until you reach the Coronado Bridge. You can either bike over the bridge or take the bike lane to the ferry terminal at the foot of the bridge. Once you arrive at the Coronado Ferry Landing, park your bike and enjoy the Coronado Ferry Center located at 1201 1st St.
Walking
If you are close to the waterfront in Chula Vista, you can enjoy a scenic walk towards Coronado. Start at the Chula Vista Marina and walk along the waterfront path. This will lead you to the ferry terminal in San Diego. Once you reach the ferry terminal, board the Coronado Ferry, which will take you directly to the Coronado Ferry Landing. After arriving, walk along the waterfront promenade to reach the Coronado Ferry Center at 1201 1st St.
