Getting There

  • Bus

    Start at the Chula Vista Transit Center located at 3rd Avenue and E Street. From there, take the Route 901 bus towards Otay Ranch. Get off at the 'Palm Ave & 3rd St' stop. Then, transfer to the Route 904 bus towards Coronado. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at 'Orange Ave & 10th St' stop. Walk east on Orange Ave for two blocks, and you will reach the Coronado Historical Association at 1100 Orange Ave.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle at one of the local bike rental shops in Chula Vista. Start from the Chula Vista Bayfront, following the bike lane on Bay Blvd heading north. Continue until you reach the Coronado Bridge, a scenic route that leads you directly into Coronado. Once you cross the bridge, follow the bike path down to 10th St. Turn left onto Orange Ave, and you will find the Coronado Historical Association about two blocks down on your right at 1100 Orange Ave.

    For those who enjoy a longer walk, start at the Chula Vista Bayfront Park. Head north along the waterfront path, enjoying the scenic views. Continue walking until you reach the Coronado Bridge. You can walk across the bridge, which is a beautiful route that takes about 30 minutes. Once on Coronado, follow 10th St until you reach Orange Ave. Turn right on Orange Ave, and the Coronado Historical Association will be on your right at 1100 Orange Ave.

    If you want a unique experience, walk to the Chula Vista Marina and take a ferry to Coronado. The ferry ride offers stunning views of the San Diego skyline.
