Getting There

  • Public Transit

    From central Chula Vista, head to the Chula Vista Transit Center located at 4th Ave and E Street. You can take the Blue Line Trolley from the Transit Center heading north towards San Diego. Stay on the trolley for approximately 30 minutes, and get off at the 'Santa Fe Depot' station in downtown San Diego. From the station, walk towards the waterfront, following the signs for 'Embarcadero'. It’s about a 10-minute walk straight to the Embarcadero.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Chula Vista. Start by heading south on 3rd Ave towards E St, then take a left on E St. Continue to the Sweetwater River Trail and follow the path towards the San Diego Bay.
