  • Public Bus

    To get to North Park in San Diego from Chula Vista, start by walking to the closest bus stop. You can take the MTS bus route 701 from Chula Vista Transit Center. Board the bus heading towards the 'San Diego Downtown'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Broadway & 11th Ave' stop. From there, transfer to the MTS bus route 2 towards 'Mission Valley'. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at 'University Ave & 30th St'. North Park is a short 5-minute walk from this stop; head west on University Ave, then turn right onto 30th St. Continue until you reach North Park.

  • Trolley

    From Chula Vista, walk to the nearest Trolley station, which is the 'Chula Vista Civic Center' station. Take the Blue Line Trolley towards 'San Ysidro'. Ride for about 15 minutes, then transfer at the '5th Ave Station' to the Green Line Trolley towards 'Sorrento Valley'. Stay on the Green Line for 8 stops until you reach the 'University Town Center'. From there, you can take a short bus ride on the MTS route 30 towards 'North Park'. After about 15 minutes, get off at 'University Ave & 30th St'. Walk west on University Ave, then turn right onto 30th St to reach North Park.

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from any of the bike-sharing stations in Chula Vista. Start your journey on the 'Bayfront Bikeway' heading north. Follow the scenic path along the bay for about 6 miles until you reach the 'San Diego River Trail'. Continue on this trail, which will take you towards Mission Valley. Once you get to Mission Valley, navigate towards 'University Ave'. Follow University Ave heading west, and after approximately 3 miles, turn right onto 30th St. North Park will be on your left. The total biking distance is around 10 miles.

Walk north to the Chula Vista Transit Center and take the MTS bus route 701 towards 'San Diego Downtown'.
