Transfer to the '7' bus towards 'Downtown San Diego' and ride for another 25-30 minutes. Get off at the 'Balboa Park' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Palm Canyon Trail. Head north on Pan American Rd to reach the trailhead at 635 Pan American W Rd.

    From Chula Vista, walk to the 'H St Trolley Station'. Take the 'Blue Line' trolley towards 'San Diego' and ride for about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'City College Trolley Station'. Transfer to the 'Green Line' trolley heading towards 'Santee'. Ride for 5 more minutes and get off at the 'Park & Market' station. From there, walk to the Balboa Park area, which will take around 15-20 minutes, and follow Pan American Rd to reach Palm Canyon Trail at 635 Pan American W Rd.
