Once you get off, walk towards the coast; Regatta Walk is a scenic pathway along the water, and you can easily spot it from the bus stop.

Rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Chula Vista. Head northwest towards the Bayshore Bikeway. Follow the bikeway along the water, which will lead you directly to San Diego. As you approach Point Loma, look for signs directing you to Regatta Walk. The ride is approximately 10 miles and takes about 1 hour.

If you're feeling adventurous and up for a long walk, start from downtown Chula Vista. Head north on 3rd Avenue, then turn right onto E Street. Continue walking until you reach the San Diego Bay.
