Public Bus
To reach Rosarito from Chula Vista, start by walking to the nearest bus stop on 4th Avenue. Look for the bus route number 225, which goes towards the border. Board the bus and pay the fare. This bus will take you to the San Ysidro border crossing. Once you arrive at the border, follow the signs for pedestrians to cross into Mexico. After crossing, you can catch a local bus or taxi that goes directly to Rosarito. Make sure to check the bus schedules and routes when you're there, as they may change.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can cycle to Rosarito. Start by heading south on 4th Avenue until you reach E Street, then turn left. Continue straight until you reach the San Ysidro border crossing. Once you cross into Mexico, follow the road signs towards Rosarito. Be cautious of traffic and ensure you have a map or GPS device to guide you along the way.
Walking
Although walking all the way to Rosarito is quite a long journey, you can walk to the San Ysidro border crossing. From Chula Vista, head south on 4th Avenue until you reach the border. Once you cross the border into Mexico, you can take a bus or taxi to Rosarito. This option is not recommended due to the distance but is possible if you're determined.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct and comfortable option, you can use a taxi or a rideshare service. Simply request a ride to Rosarito from your current location in Chula Vista. The driver will take you to the San Ysidro border where you will need to cross into Mexico. After crossing, your driver can continue to Rosarito, or you can switch to a local taxi or rideshare service in Mexico to complete your journey.
