From Chula Vista, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) bus route 701 towards Downtown San Diego. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes. You'll want to get off at the '5th Ave & Market St' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk northeast on Market St for about 2 blocks until you reach Park Blvd. Turn left on Park Blvd, and you will find the San Diego Central Library at 330 Park Blvd on your right.

Make your way to the Chula Vista trolley station and board the San Diego Trolley Blue Line heading north towards America Plaza. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Civic Center' station.
