From anywhere in Chula Vista, locate the nearest bus stop for the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS). Take the Route 701 bus towards Coronado. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Coronado Ferry Landing' stop. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to Star Park. It’s about a 15-minute walk: head south on 1st Street, turn left onto Orange Avenue, and then right on Park Place. Star Park will be on your left.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Chula Vista to Coronado. Start by heading to the Bayshore Bikeway, which is accessible from several points in Chula Vista. Follow the Bikeway along the bay, which will lead you directly to Coronado. Once you reach Coronado, continue on the Bikeway until you reach 1030 Park Pl, where Star Park is located. The ride will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on your speed.
Walking
If you are close to the San Diego Bay or the Coronado Bridge, you can walk towards the bridge. Once on the Coronado side, head towards 1st Street, then take a left on Orange Avenue. Continue straight until you reach Park Place and turn right. Star Park will be on your left. This route is scenic but can take over an hour, so be prepared for a longer walk.
