Bus
From your current location in Chula Vista, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) bus routes. You can take Route 701, which goes directly to downtown San Diego. Board the bus and enjoy the ride, which will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'Broadway & Pacific Hwy' stop. From there, walk north on Pacific Highway for about 5 minutes until you reach Waterfront Park at 1600 Pacific Hwy, San Diego, CA 92101.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Chula Vista. Head towards the Bayshore Bikeway, which offers a scenic route. Bicycle along the pathway for about 10 miles towards San Diego. Follow the signs for the path that leads to downtown. Once you reach downtown, follow the signs to Pacific Highway, and continue until you arrive at Waterfront Park, located at 1600 Pacific Hwy, San Diego, CA 92101.
Walking
If you're situated close to the border of San Diego, you can walk to Waterfront Park. Head towards the San Diego Bay, and follow the pathways along the waterfront to enjoy the beautiful views. Walk north along the bay until you reach Pacific Highway. Once you arrive at Pacific Highway, continue walking north for about 10-15 minutes, and you will find Waterfront Park at 1600 Pacific Hwy, San Diego, CA 92101.
