Car
If you're in the Colorado Desert and have access to a car, start your journey by heading north on CA-86. Continue on CA-86 for about 40 miles until you reach I-10. Merge onto I-10 East towards Blythe. After about 30 miles, take exit 200 for CA-62 towards 29 Palms. Follow CA-62 for approximately 20 miles. Once you reach the intersection with CA-177, turn right and continue north for about 10 miles. Finally, turn left onto Grapevine Canyon Road and follow it for about 2 miles until you reach the entrance of Grapevine Canyon. Be sure to check your fuel gauge, as services can be sparse in this area.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, begin by taking a Greyhound bus to Palm Springs, CA. From Palm Springs, you can catch a local bus (SunLine Transit Agency) heading towards 29 Palms. Once in 29 Palms, you may need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to reach Grapevine Canyon, as it is about 12 miles away from the nearest bus stop.
