After approximately 70 miles, take exit 192 for CA-62 East towards 29 Palms. Continue on CA-62 for about 30 miles until you reach the junction with Twentynine Palms Highway. Turn right onto Twentynine Palms Highway and continue for about 15 miles until you reach the intersection with CA-177. Turn left onto CA-177 South and follow it for about 10 miles. Then, turn right onto Mojave Road (unmarked but commonly known) and follow it for approximately 20 miles. The Mojave Road Historical Marker will be on your right side in Nipton, CA 92364. Make sure to check your fuel level as services are limited in this area.
