    Getting There

    Ferry

    Start at the Coronado Ferry Landing. Take the ferry to downtown San Diego, which runs frequently throughout the day. The ferry ride takes about 15 minutes and offers beautiful views of the San Diego skyline. Once you arrive at the Broadway Pier in San Diego, exit the ferry and head towards the trolley station.

    Trolley

    From the Broadway Pier, walk to the nearby Santa Fe Depot trolley station. Board the Green Line trolley headed towards Santee. You will need to transfer to the Blue Line at the 12th & Imperial Transit Center. Take the Blue Line towards the San Ysidro border and get off at the City College station.

    Walking

    From the City College trolley station, exit and walk towards the west on C Street. Continue straight until you reach 6th Avenue. Turn left on 6th Avenue and continue until you reach the intersection with Zoo Place. Turn right onto Zoo Place, and you will find the Balboa Park Carousel at 1889 Zoo Pl, San Diego, CA 92101.

    Public Bus

    Alternatively, after taking the ferry to downtown San Diego, instead of the trolley, you can catch the #7 bus at the corner of Broadway and 1st Avenue. This bus will take you directly to Balboa Park. Get off at the bus stop closest to the park and follow the signs to the Balboa Park Carousel.
