Balboa Fun Zone: A Coastal Amusement Oasis

Getting There

• Bus

  From Costa Mesa, head to the nearest bus stop. Take the OCTA Route 57 bus heading towards Newport Beach. Stay on the bus for approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the stop named 'Balboa Peninsula'. From there, walk east along E Balboa Blvd for about 0.5 miles, and then turn left onto E Bay Ave. The Balboa Fun Zone will be on your right at 600 E Bay Ave.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Costa Mesa. Start your ride on the Santa Ana River Trail heading south. Continue for about 5 miles until you reach the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Turn left onto PCH and follow it for another mile until you reach E Bay Ave. Turn right onto E Bay Ave, and the Balboa Fun Zone will be on your left at 600 E Bay Ave.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy walking, you can start from the Costa Mesa City Hall area. Head south on Fairview Rd for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Placentia Ave. Turn left onto Placentia Ave and continue walking until you reach the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Once you reach PCH, turn left and walk for about 1.5 miles. Turn right onto E Bay Ave, and the Balboa Fun Zone will be on your left at 600 E Bay Ave.

• Taxi/Rideshare

  You can also call a taxi or use a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft. Simply enter 'Balboa Fun Zone, 600 E Bay Ave, Newport Beach' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the Balboa Fun Zone. The ride will take approximately 15-25 minutes depending on traffic.
