Public Transport - Bus
From central Costa Mesa, walk to the nearest bus stop on 19th Street and Newport Boulevard. Take the OCTA bus 57 heading north towards the Santa Ana Metro Link Station. Ride for about 25 minutes until you reach the Disneyland Drive stop. From there, it's a short walk towards Disneyland, following the signs to the entrance, which will lead you directly to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Public Transport - Shuttle
Look for shuttle services that operate from Costa Mesa to Disneyland. Many hotels offer complimentary or paid shuttles. Check with your hotel’s front desk for schedules. Once on the shuttle, sit back and enjoy the ride; it should take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. The shuttle will drop you off at Disneyland, from where you can follow the signs to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Walking/Biking
If you're up for a longer excursion, consider biking or walking to Disneyland. From central Costa Mesa, head northwest on 19th Street towards Newport Boulevard. Continue on Newport Boulevard north until you reach the intersection with Katella Avenue. From there, take a left on Katella Avenue and follow it directly to Disneyland Drive. It’s about a 5-mile journey, so be prepared for a good walk or bike ride, which will take roughly 1.5 hours on foot or 20-30 minutes by bike.
