    From any location in Costa Mesa, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) Bus Route 57 towards Long Beach. Stay on the bus for about 30-40 minutes until you reach the Long Beach Transit Mall. Once at the Transit Mall, transfer to the Long Beach Transit Blue Line (Light Rail) towards Washington Station. Get off at the 1st Street Station. From there, walk east on E 1st St toward Long Beach Blvd, continue onto E Shoreline Dr, and you will arrive at Rainbow Lagoon Park, located at 400 E Shoreline Dr.

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Costa Mesa. Head south towards Fairview Road, then turn left onto Fairview and follow it until you reach the Costa Mesa Bike Trail. Follow the bike trail south until it connects to the Santa Ana River Trail. Continue on the Santa Ana River Trail until you reach the Long Beach area. Once you reach downtown Long Beach, follow the bike lane signs towards Shoreline Drive and you will arrive at Rainbow Lagoon Park located at 400 E Shoreline Dr.

From the Transit Mall, head east on E 1st St, then continue onto E Shoreline Dr. It's approximately a 15-minute walk to the park from the Transit Mall.
