Public Bus
If you are in Glendale, you can take the Metro Bus Line 180 or 181 from the Glendale Galleria. Board the bus at the stop on Maryland Ave. and travel towards downtown Los Angeles. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the stop at Spring St and College St. From there, walk south for about 5 minutes until you reach Los Angeles State Historic Park at 1245 N Spring St.

From Glendale, walk to the nearest Metro station, which is the Glendale Civic Center Station. Take the Metro Line 96 towards the North Hollywood Station. Transfer to the Red Line at Universal City Station, going towards Union Station. Get off at Union Station after a 15-minute ride. From Union Station, you can either take a short bus ride or walk. If you choose to walk, exit Union Station and head northeast on Alameda St toward E Cesar E Chavez Ave, then turn right onto Spring St. The park will be on your left after a 10-minute walk.
