    From Hayward, head to the Hayward BART station located at 699 B St, Hayward, CA 94541. Take the BART train heading towards San Francisco/Daly City. Once you arrive at the Embarcadero station in San Francisco, transfer to the Muni Metro. Take the Muni Metro T line towards Chinatown and get off at the Powell Street station. From there, it’s a short walk to Union Square. Just head west on Powell Street until you reach Union Square, which is a large plaza surrounded by shops and hotels.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from a local bike shop in Hayward. Start from downtown Hayward and head northwest on Mission Boulevard (CA-238) towards the San Francisco Bay Trail.
