Walking
From the Hollywood Walk of Fame, head south on Hollywood Blvd toward N Orange Dr. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Sunset Blvd. Turn right onto Sunset Blvd and walk for about 0.8 miles. After that, turn left onto S Figueroa St, continuing for about 1.5 miles. You will see the California Science Center at 700 Exposition Park Dr on your left.

Public Transit - Bus
From the Hollywood & Highland Center, walk to the Hollywood & Highland bus stop. Take Metro Bus Line 212 towards 'Culver City' and get off at the 'Hawthorne Blvd & S Broadway' stop after about 25 minutes. From there, transfer to Metro Bus Line 40 towards 'Union Station' and get off at the 'Exposition Park / USC' stop. The California Science Center will be a short walk from the bus stop, located at 700 Exposition Park Dr.

Walk to the Hollywood/Highland Metro Station. Take the Metro Red Line towards 'Union Station' and ride for 3 stops until you reach the '7th Street/Metro Center' Station. Transfer to the Metro Blue Line towards 'Washington Station' and ride for 5 stops until you reach 'Washington Station.' From there, walk east on W Washington Blvd for about 0.6 miles until you reach the California Science Center at 700 Exposition Park Dr.
