Getting There

Walking
From Hollywood Boulevard, head north on Highland Avenue. Walk for about 0.7 miles until you reach the intersection with Franklin Avenue. Turn right onto Franklin Avenue and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. Look for the entrance to Griffith Park on your left, marked by a large sign. Enter the park and follow the trails that lead towards the Griffith Observatory. After about a 20-minute walk, you'll reach the observatory, which offers an excellent view of the Hollywood Sign. From here, you can take the walking trails that lead further up towards the sign itself.
