Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Inglewood, head east on Market Street towards Eucalyptus Avenue. Turn left onto Eucalyptus Avenue and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Arbor Vitae Street. Turn right on Arbor Vitae Street and walk straight until you reach the intersection with La Brea Avenue. At La Brea Avenue, turn left and continue walking north. After about 1.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with Century Blvd. Cross Century Blvd and continue straight onto La Cienega Blvd. Walk for another mile until you reach the intersection with Venice Blvd. Turn right onto Venice Blvd, and then continue straight for about 2 miles until you reach the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Turn left on PCH, and after a short walk, you will arrive at the Venice Beach Recreation Center, located at 1800 Ocean Front Walk.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Inglewood Transit Center, board the Metro Bus Line 212 towards 'LAX City Bus Center'. Ride the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Sepulveda Blvd & Venice Blvd'. From there, transfer to the Metro Bus Line 33 towards 'Santa Monica'. After about 15 minutes, get off at 'Pacific Ave & Windward Ave'. Walk west towards Ocean Front Walk for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the Venice Beach Recreation Center located at 1800 Ocean Front Walk.

    If you have a bike, start from the Inglewood Civic Center. Head east on Manchester Blvd towards La Brea Ave. Turn left onto La Brea Ave and ride north for about 1.5 miles, then turn right onto Century Blvd and continue straight. After about 3 miles, turn left onto La Cienega Blvd. Continue riding for about a mile, then turn right onto Venice Blvd. Follow Venice Blvd for about 2 miles until you reach the Pacific Coast Highway. Turn left and ride for a short distance, and you will arrive at the Venice Beach Recreation Center located at 1800 Ocean Front Walk.
