If you are driving from San Bernardino, get on I-215 N from W 5th St. Follow I-215 N and CA-330 N to Lake Arrowhead in about 45 minutes. Once you reach Lake Arrowhead, take the exit toward CA-173 N from CA-18. Continue on CA-173 N and turn left onto Peninsula Dr. The Mountain History Museum will be on your right at 27176 Peninsula Dr, Lake Arrowhead, CA 92352.

To reach The Mountain History Museum via public transit, take the Metrolink train from various stations in the Inland Empire to the San Bernardino station. From San Bernardino, transfer to the SBCTA Route 1 bus heading towards Lake Arrowhead. Get off at the Lake Arrowhead Village stop, and from there, it is about a 10-minute walk to the museum. Head northwest on CA-173 N, turn left onto Peninsula Dr, and the museum will be on your right.
