    Getting There

    Walking

    Start at the Joshua Tree Visitor Center located at 6554 Park Blvd, Joshua Tree, CA 92252. Exit the center and head south on Park Blvd for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 62. Turn left onto Highway 62 and walk east for about 1.2 miles. You will pass a few shops and restaurants, so feel free to stop for snacks or water. Continue on Highway 62 until you see a sign for Joshua Tree Gateway (Section 33) on your right. The entrance is a small pathway that leads into the nature preserve.

    Biking

    Rent a bike from one of the local shops in Joshua Tree. Start at your rental location and head towards the Joshua Tree Visitor Center at 6554 Park Blvd. From the Visitor Center, ride south on Park Blvd for approximately 0.3 miles. At the intersection with Highway 62, turn left and ride east. You will have a bike lane, making it safer to travel. Ride for about 1.2 miles along Highway 62, keeping an eye out for the sign for Joshua Tree Gateway (Section 33) on your right. Once you see it, take the path that leads into the nature preserve.

    Public Transport (Shuttle Services)
