Public Transit (Bus)
To reach Castaways Park at 700 Dover Dr, Newport Beach from Long Beach, start by heading to the nearest bus stop for the Long Beach Transit. You can take the Line 1 bus towards the Long Beach Transit Mall. Once you arrive at the Transit Mall, transfer to the Metro Link Orange County Line towards Oceanside. Get off at the Santa Ana station. From there, catch the OCTA Bus Route 57 towards Tustin. After approximately 15 stops, disembark at the Newport Beach, Dover Dr & 16th St stop. Walk south on Dover Dr for about 5 minutes, and you'll reach Castaways Park.

If you're already near the waterfront in Long Beach, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Castaways Park. Start at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center and head south along the shore. Follow the path through the beach area for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection of 2nd St and Pacific Coast Hwy. From there, head east on 2nd St, then turn north onto Dover Dr. Continue walking for about 1.5 miles, and you'll arrive at Castaways Park, where you can enjoy beautiful ocean views.

For an active journey, rent a bike in Long Beach. Start at Shoreline Drive and head towards the bike path along the beach. Follow the path until you reach Pacific Coast Hwy.
