Walking
If you are starting from Laguna Beach's Main Beach, head southeast on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Laguna Canyon Road. Continue walking on the sidewalk along Laguna Canyon Road. You will pass several shops and art galleries. After approximately 1 mile, look for the entrance to Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park on your left. Enter the park and follow the trail signs towards 'Top of the World.' This hike will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. The trails will lead you up through scenic areas with plenty of opportunities for photos along the way.

From the Laguna Beach bus terminal, take the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) bus route 1 towards Newport Beach. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop for Laguna Canyon Road and El Toro Road. From there, take a short walk back to Laguna Canyon Road towards the entrance of Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park. Continue along the trails that lead you to 'Top of the World.'
