If you are in downtown Los Angeles, take the Metro Line 720 (Rapid Bus) heading towards Santa Monica. Get off at the stop at 7th Street/Metro Center and transfer to the Metro Line 4 (North Hollywood) towards North Hollywood. After a few stops, get off at the stop at Wilshire/Western. Here, transfer to the Metro Line 20 (Long Beach) heading towards Long Beach. Ride until you reach the stop at Bolsa Chica & Warner. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve at 18000 CA-1.
