    Getting There

    Bus

    From Long Beach, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Line 61 bus towards Los Angeles. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Pine Ave & 5th St' stop in Downtown Long Beach. From there, transfer to the Metro Blue Line train towards Washington Station. Ride for about 25 minutes and get off at the 'Washington Station' stop. Finally, switch to the Metro Silver Line bus towards El Monte Station and ride it for about 15 minutes. Get off at 'Echo Park' in Los Angeles, and you will be at your destination.

    Metro Train

    Start at the Long Beach Transit Mall. Board the Metro Blue Line train heading towards Washington Station. Stay on the train for about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Washington Station, transfer to the Metro Red Line train towards Union Station. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Civic Center' stop. From there, you can either walk or take a short bus ride to Echo Park, which is a 15-minute walk straight down Sunset Blvd.

    Bicycle

    Rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Long Beach. Start from the beach and head north on Ocean Blvd until you reach Long Beach Blvd. Turn left and continue heading north. When you reach 7th St, turn right and follow it until you reach the Metro Blue Line station. From there, you can take the Blue Line train towards Washington Station. Once in Los Angeles, bike towards Echo Park, which is approximately a 15-minute ride from the train station.

    Walking

    If you're feeling adventurous and up for a long walk, you can head north on Pine Ave from downtown Long Beach. Walk straight for about 2 miles until you reach the 710 freeway. Cross the freeway and continue walking until you reach 3rd St. Turn right on 3rd St and follow it until you arrive at Echo Park in Los Angeles. This walk will take approximately 1.5 hours and is recommended for those who enjoy walking.
